Sex on TV Is About to Get Sexier

A moment of silence for the death of the family hour. After a federal appeals court struck down the FCC's regulations on indecency earlier this week, network television will have license to depict more violence, use more profanity and—as The Hollywood Reporter explains (with video!)—get a whole lot sexier:

Primetime TV this fall is going to be chock-a-block with even more blatant sexuality and raunchy language. It's a trend that's been a long time coming and is now accelerating...."
